I took bids from about 5 different companies to replace my failing 15-year old furnace and A/C unit. I knew I wanted to replace my system with a hybrid heat pump/furnace combo.

His patience and willingness to listen sold me. He took detailed notes and, throughout the process, was always willing to answer my questions.

Highly recommend Steckel Heating & Cooling! We did not have central air, so we installed new HVAC (duct work & mini splits), new hot water heater, and removed our oil tank. We got a few estimates from different people, but Pete was the most responsive and most reasonably priced. He was fantastic to work with - friendly, communicative, and incredibly thorough. For such a big job, Pete & Kevin kept things minimally disruptive and cleaned up so well at the end of each day that you would hardly know any work was going on. He is meticulous with his work and we are thrilled with how things turned out.

Pete, along with Kevin, his assistant, worked diligently throughout approximately seven hours hardly ever taking a break. The installation process was very thorough, as well as the cleaning up at the end. In business only since 2020; Pete is very knowledgeable on the subject of heating and cooling, explaining each component of the system. Everything in the proposal was clearly described. The price for the HVAC system and installation was quite reasonable in comparison to four other proposals from different companies. I was without a functioning HVAC for quite a few months, and the wait was worth it. I definitely recommend Steckel.
